10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is massive and student's get lost in the shuffle. Teachers can't remember their names or have any personal connection to the students. Drugs are rampant and it's a frightening place to be for a young student. I do not recommend purchasing a new home in this area because if you do you have to consider a private school. Academics are completely watered down so that administrators can keep up appearances and rankings.Parent Review6mo ago21 Reviews - Charles Pinckney Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHey guys this school is pretty great i guess I have learned a lot from being here. Shout out to Mr smoak he is my favorite teacher ever he should win teacher of the year and yall should request to be in his class because he is so nice and he cares about his students and he is the only teacher that i feel like I actually learned from. And shout out to one my favorite Mrs. Rockleman I love her and she helped me and art and she is so kind and amazing. But one down side is there is a lot of coach roaches lurking around the building I’m not sure how they spawn but it’s lowkey kinda gross but this school is very fun and I love it.Other Review8mo ago28 Reviews - Laurel Hill Primary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has learned alot and does receive extra help in subjects that she struggles in which is great! My child has never complained about anything in school or any of her teachers which is all that matters. I WILL say that I think the PTA is a little ridiculous with how it is always giving teachers presents //giftcards and almost makes me wonder if those children of those PTA parents are getting treated better than the others. Some of us moms are working class moms who do have to work to provide for our children and don’t have the time or money to donate to things like that. I do take inconsideration the area the school is in but not all families are able to do those things or be that active in child’s daily school activities. When I receive emails about what’s been bought for the teacher by these PTA parents I can’t help but think those students are definitely being treated better. I hope I’m wrong but that seems to be a huge thing here at this school.Parent Review2y ago18 Reviews - Check out schools near Stratton Pl.

"I work from home and no commute is necessary. When I travel for work, the airport is about a 40 minute drive, or longer at rush hour. Traffic leaving Mount Pleasant can encounter delays on I-26 and I-526. "

"I’ve lived in Mount Pleasant for almost 20 years. A lot of people call that nasty names and talk about the people here, but I have not run into anything but niceness and kindness. Yeah the kids are a little unreal but that’s what kids do they play."

"Too Far from my work. But i like the schools and accessibility to the beach. Overall comparing to NC Charleston even Mount Pleasent houses are half in quality and so ugly houses not even breaks … with triple prices … and 30-50% smaller … Roads are not the bests … I am disappointed … But have to work here … so no choice !"

"Access to two major roads in Charleston through Clements Ferry or through HWY 17. Golf cart accessible to at least three shopping centers. Plenty of golf and boating access for all. Commute is improved since first moved to the neighborhood 5 years ago. "

"I don’t travel towards downtown for my commute or to north mt pleasant. But going to the islands most anytime is easy whenever. Might have to wait for a drawbridge on occasion. "
