8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLowry is a great school. The importance of elementary school can’t be measured. With one primary teacher and the life setting goals it’s so important to get the right fit with that one teacher. They can change a child’s life by keeping them excited for the upcoming years and teaching the fundamentals. I have not experienced a teacher at Lowery not able to accomplish this goal. I highly recommend Lowry Elementary School.Parent Review3y ago16 Reviews - Alonso High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagehonestly don’t even know where to start, but I feel like I have to say something. My son Samuel hasn’t been the best student, I admit that. But that does NOT mean he should be treated the way he’s being treated. That’s not a reason to basically punish a kid instead of helping him.I’ve emailed teachers, staff, even the principal, and nothing really gets resolved. Either they don’t answer or they just say “everything is on Canvas” and that’s it. But the way every teacher has their assignments set up is confusing. It’s not clear, and even with a tutor it’s been hard to figure out what he actually needs to do.On top of that, my son had a serious accident and needed emergency surgery. He was in bed for about a month. When he came back, he started doing his work, even if it was late for obvious reasons, and instead of working with him, a lot of teachers just refused to accept it. So instead of support, he just gets punished more. There were even assignments sitting at the front desk for about a month that were NEVER given to me, even though I pick him up every single day. Now they’re saying he didn’t do them and marking everything missing, and not giving him a chance to make it up. That’s not fair at all. Also, I’m going to be honest, it does feel like some students get treated differently. Whether it’s bias, attitude, or something else, you can tell. And as a parent, that’s very frustrating. Some teachers are amazing and actually try to help, and I appreciate them. But most of the experience has not been like that.I have proof of everything. If my son ends up failing because of this situation, I will take this further, because this is not okay.Parent Review3mo ago27 Reviews - Check out schools near State St.

"This area is very walkable. Within 1/4 mile are restaurants, coffee shop and a grocery store and pharmacy…within 1 mile are more restaurants, bay shore, ballast point bay side park and TYCC. Quite neighborhood, easy driving to most of Tampa."

"Currently my commute is 25 to 40 minutes and I only live about 10 to 15 from my office building. There’s only one way in and one way out unfortunately. If you leave anywhere between 7:15 AM-8 AM, you will be met with heavy traffic, especially with kids in school and people commuting to work"

"My family & I have lived in Cory Lake Isles for two years, and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. As a parent of young children, I place a high value on safety, community, and access to quality recreational amenities— Cory Lake Isles excels in all three areas. The sports and recreation facilities are exceptional. My children regularly enjoy the tennis courts, basketball court, hockey rink, soccer field, and the expansive lake, which offers both beauty and opportunities for family recreation. The pool, in particular, feels more like a Disney-quality resort than a neighborhood amenity. The neighborhood is well managed, secure, and continuously improving. We feel safe, welcomed, & confident raising our children here. Cory Lake Isles has exceeded our expectations and continues to prove itself as a premier place to live and raise a family."

"Traffic is bad around 3 pm and the rain but it is Florida. I think Pinellas County makes the Bay Area a great place. Not only the beaches but some of the best city’s in America are in Pinellas county. "

"Traffic is very bad and make sure there isn’t any games going. If there is add extra time for your commute. My 20minute drive turns into 1 hour if there is a lightening game going on. "
