Not the best of schools. You do have teachers that care but I wish they all did! My child has had great grades but feels one of the teachers makes comments to hurt the students. One of the teachers didn't even know how to teach some of her problems in math. So my child was tutored to make sure he passed the eog test. Not impressed at all ! There is a new principal so hopefully things will change for the better.

Wow! This school and its' teachers are AMAZING! I have an honors student in this school and they are constantly challenging him. They also have a very strong arts program, Marching Band, Chorus, Drama and art. The arts are very important to me and my family. I am so happy we decided on Perquimans County Schools for our children. Thank you teachers for all you do!

The educational experience at this institution presented significant challenges. My child reported experiencing frequent bullying, and the administration's response was inadequate. While some educators demonstrated proficiency, the overall quality of instruction was mediocre. Furthermore, my daughter's experience, though less impacted by bullying, included witnessing instances of students possessing weapons on school grounds. Regarding academic progress, my children indicated that the curriculum was ok, although there were concerns with the fact that topics that should have been tought last year where tought this year. Staffing issues, including teacher absences and inadequate substitute coverage, were also noted. Additionally, the availability of resources was limited, and teacher compensation appeared insufficient. Based on these observations, I cannot recommend this school.
