7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had two graduates here. Both did AP and dual credit and had good teachers. some of my students got enough college credit they can can pick up a minor or start their masters early in college. They both benefited from strong sports and arts experiences and we felt they had a good support through this time. It is an excellent option.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Armstrong Junior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI recently graduated from armstrong and my whole time there was bad, teachers mostly try and help the student learn and succeed but other teacher sat on there phones the whole class not bothering to teacher anything. The staff in general some were nice while most rude to some students by making fun of them, guilt tripping them and more, The diversity in the school was unique but that also meant that bulling happened more often and teachers and staff never did anything to stop it, they tried to use an app called "stop it" but even when kids to report something like bulling, threats or struggles the staff never did anythingThe cafeteria food was sometimes just bad. The food came out not hot sometimes, ive seen food with hair on it and even bugs sometimes. Me and some of my other friends have even gotten food poisoning from that food. The safety here at this school was decent but they could have done better especially when kids were bringbharmfull things to school they tried to check or backpack before we could get into the school, the first day they did it they check everything in there backpack, bag, purses. But after that they stop try and hardly check the bags even kids had said that if they wanted to bring something they could have cause they went checking thoroughly enough.Other Review11mo ago3 Reviews - Sudduth Elementary School

"Lots of local community flair. Events centered around the college are common, but they also have fairs and other events. "

"Always traffic. Always busy and congested at peak times Only on Main Street out of neighborhood. It’s a busy college town and a lot of popular neighborhoods on this side of town but u learn to give urself time to get places. It’s still better than being stuck in traffic jams on busy highways. I love my town and it’s a great place to raise children. Not to big and busy and not to little and boring. Has a lot of activities and opportunities for children and a lot of events regularly for adults. Something for everyone. "

"Great public transport, but I drive to work. Traffic is minimal at best. You can get anywhere in the city in 10-15 minutes"

"Many people allow their dogs to be off leash despite them being aggressive. That being said, leash laws are required within city limits, but enforcement is very lax."

"Cars in the neighborhoods drive fast, and no one really picks up after their pups either. Other than that I can’t think of anything!"

"This is a college town and caters very specifically to those in college. I feel very safe and am surrounded by people my age but i don’t go anywhere after dark alone just for safety reasons. "

"It’s only blocks to downtown, restaurants, shopping and to the MSU Campus. We’ve lived in this neighborhood for 6 years, although my husband has worked on the Campus for 24 years. "

"This neighborhood is highly desirable because of its location, quiet streets, and friendly neighborhood environment. Single access points prevent flow-through traffic, and allow for quiet streets while remaining nearly in the center of the city. All around a great place to live!"

"MSU makes this a great town lots of events, good new local hospital, airport about 20 minutes away with close cheap parking and very short check in times. Shopping could improve, but there are cities 2 hours or less away. People are friendly and helpful. Golf, boating, hiking, fishing and hunting all available."
