We have 3 lots for sale in Palacios, Tx - Tres Palacios Subdivision which is located near the Tres Palacios River, approximately 13 miles North of Palacios and just 5 miles from the Bay. Within this resort community, there is (2) two pools, a boat ramp with (2) two lighted fishing piers, several parks and a 10 acre fresh water lake.

The city of Palacios is located in Matagorda County, nestled along the Tres Palacios Bay, an inland bay of Matagorda Bay, on the southern coast of Texas. Known as the City by the Sea and also the United States largest shrimp industry,y it is approximately 110 miles southwest from Houston and around 110 miles northeast of Corpus Christi.

Lots are by septic and community well. Power is through Jackson Electric. Water is by Texas American Water. You can place a modular, trailer or stick home on the lot(s) but you cannot bring in a trailer or modular home that is older than 5 years old in an effort to keep the subdivision and area clean and updated. Property is .12 acres EACH (50 ‘x 100’ lot dimensions per lot)

Normally the county requires that you have ½ acre to put in a septic, however anything previously platted before 1993 the county will grandfather in and work with you so your home size will vary depending on the size of your lot. With a above ground septic systems now available this takes care of everything.

This is a Gated subdivision, and throughout the subdivision are many homes. Property has extremely easy access and can be driven on and found with a car and map. Streets are clearly marked and easy to find. Google pictures have been provided of the lots so you can see it's location and surrounding area.

The principal even steps out to do pickup line and read to children. This is the only school my son has went to that he actually looks forward to going to EVERYDAY! And prior to him going here, I honestly thought my child would be dyslexic and possibly autistic because of his perceived learning disabilities in other schools. Turns out he just needed a better 1 on 1 education!

"Gated community but people of all walks of life live here. The people arm non-pretentious and ride around on golf carts meeting other neighbors nAmenities are nice. This neighborhood is on Carancahua Bay and it is hard to beat the sunrise and sunsets. Very safe!"

"Really nothing special about it. Palacios is just one of those small towns where’s there’s nothing to do. sure, there’s the ‘beach’ and everything, but it’s nobody’s dream location to be at. "

"Very nice quiet fishing village. Lots of cottage homes, great schools with a family oriented appeal. Largest number of bird species sighted in Texas. Abundant number of local stores to support local community.....no shopping malls.. but don't need them here. No fashioistia requirements here. Pretty much a hidden secret. Boat docks for shrimping and fishing community huge. "
