7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family has been a part of the Greensview community for the last 10 years as each of our three children have gone to school there. Our youngest is currently in 4th grade and we are already starting to mourn the idea that we will soon say goodbye to Greensview and the absolutely amazing teachers and staff that have made it our school home. Over the years we have come to love many things about Greensview. The principal, Mr. Wulf, consistently puts students at the center of every decision he makes even when it means going against parents or even teachers - a task that is a lot harder than it sounds in a community where parents are very concerned and involved. The teachers at Greensview consistently go above and beyond to meet each child exactly where they are academically, socially and emotionally. We have seen teachers make house calls, attend student extracurricular events, write personalized notes, act silly, shed tears, advise clubs, form lunch groups and even serenade their students in an effort to connect and make kids feel special. Teachers live by the school PRIDE characteristics: Positive Attitude, Respect, Integrity, Duty & Empathy which is emulated in the way students interact with their teachers and one another. Our youngest child has developmental and cognitive disabilities, so it is always of great importance to us to know how he is being treated by others. I can tell you with absolute certainty that the children at Greensview have embraced him with fierce protection and love. They are genuinely elated to see him each day and he feels the same about them. Greensview is an extremely special place. We will be forever grateful for our experience there.Parent Review5y ago6 Reviews - Hastings Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible subbing experience. A student told me that they like to "troll" subs and she was surprised i made it this far. When i finally was able to manage the classroom, the kids who were most disruptive and not following classroom rules, complained to their parents, who then complained to the principle and the principle said there was nothing she could do but fire me. I have subbed at many different schools, and this was by far the worst. Unlike a union teacher, i have no rights or support. It's basically the student's word against mine. I wish there were camaras in the classroom to help prove my creditability and integrity.Other Review1y ago5 Reviews - Upper Arlington High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe UAHS is a lovely school with lots of electives and leadership opportunities. Students have plenty of choices when it comes to what to learn and the athletics program is amazing too. Despite the majority of the UA poulation being white, everyone here is respectful and inclusive. UA is also a very LGBTQIA+ supportive community. Overall, the Upper Arlington High School is an amazing choice for anyone in the UA community.Other Review1y ago25 Reviews - Check out schools near Squirrel Bend Rd.

"4th of July festivities in UA and Fall Fest at Fancyburg are great. Littleton’s has a nice buzz and is an event in itself. UA is a peaceful, fun and rewarding community to live in. "

"My personal neighborhood is full of a wide range of ages from older couples to young families. We come together several times a year for block parties, etc and are there for each other when a need arises. I feel very safe both in my neighborhood as well as the city itself. The schools have high academic standards and we moved here because there was only one high school which brings about a more community feel. "

"There are not sidewalks in many residential areas. This leaves you the option to walk in grassy areas and risk falling or twisting your ankle, or walking in the streets with many cars parked along them. Physically not safe for dog walking, exercising, or kids. "

"I was raised in this area and moved back 12 years ago. I am fortunate to raise my kids here. The schools are fantastic and the neighborhood is one of the safest i have known. The neighborhood is very walkable, being one of the very firs planned communities in the US. Upper Arlington celebrates its bicentennial this year. "
