"The population is small but there are lots of parks and campgrounds. I haven't seen many families around but there is stuff for kids to do like swimming in Lake Huron, camping at the State Park campground. The playgrounds are cute and well maintained. "

"It's obvious that people take pride in their homes here. It's a wonderful, safe place to raise children. Great schools, lots of churches. Not much for entertainment, except seasonal activities--swimming, fishing, snowmobiling, bicycling on the bike trail, etc. Glad I chose to come back to my home town!"
