"I like it it’s very nice here not much issues nice neighbors schools are pretty good I feel safe here "
  • Elle H.
"The public transportation in this part of Delaware County leaves much to be desired. SEPTA is not a reliable system. "
  • Vanessa M.
"Great neighborhood but Kids are bad in this area and always fighting. Besides that everything is fine besides parking is very hard when you have someone parking all three of there cars plus their work car all up front. "
  • Benjaminamcbride29
"it is very family friendly good schools minimal crime nice people friendly environment clean streets very convenient as far as stores "
  • lweist36
"I've lived here for 7 years. and it's mostly quite. I love that people don't hang on the corners. Stores are not too far away."
  • AP.
"I’ve lived here for about 2 years. I’ve never really heard of any crime. However there are a few questionable people in the area, like, not so clean. But I’ve never felt not safe. Which is a big deal for someone with a kid who has grown up in a crime dominated city. There is a Family Dollar and Wawa near by which are great when you forget to pick up something small from the store. The elementary school is great! Majority of the staff are so nice. Its a pretty decent area to live in but I wouldn’t make it my permanent home "
  • Janet T. C.
"location: easy access to major highways, close to airport and city of Philadelphia. less than 1/2 mile to tax free shopping in Delaware."
  • Tom D.
"Nice neighbors and very clean neighborhood!! "

"This block in Linwood is well maintained and safe. The town has pockets of "grittiness" but this area is a good place if you want to live in a real neighborhood where people actually talk to each other. If you're uppity and a know-it-all or a climber, you won't like it here. Go far away. There is a community park within walking distance that has tennis courts and a Mickey Vernon ballpark behind it. We used to sled down the hill next to the tennis courts when we were kids. The big drawback is that there is an oil refinery at Linwood's doorstep, if you can't see it from where you live it's no big deal. Pollution control has stopped the odors. "
