4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the worst school I've ever seen in my life it's very unsafe and I do not recommend anyone to send their kids there. The bullying and harassment is out of control and all they do is sweep it under the rug and ignore it, the school board does not help the situation they just make it worse.Parent Review3mo ago15 Reviews - Edgewood High School

The staff here are great. I was also a substitute teacher here in 2021-2022 and had no issues at allParent Review1y ago20 Reviews - Abingdon Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two children recently transferred to Abington Elementary School. because my children are new the area and still adapting to their surroundings I decided my children should be car riders. On their second day of school I arrive to the school to pick my children up and they are no where to be found while in the car rider line I was informed by a staff member that Someone had called the school and made other arrangements for my children transportation home knowing I had not made that call nor Had I instructed anyone to make that call on my behalf I became immediately concerned and panic I parked my vehicle to make my way to the main office. As I was walking I was stopped by a staff member she ask where I was going I explained my children are missing that the school had lost my children her response was ok and she continued with the dismissal with no regards to what I had just mentioned. At this point I concluded that I was on my own to find my children without any assistance from the administration team or staff members on duty i began searching for my own children. I decided to call a neighbor to find out if they happened to know the bus number for our community. While still frantic and still in panic mode a women approaches me and begins to scream in my face and ear that she will ban me I later found out that she was the principal .Stacey Gerringer (principle) at no point had she offered any assistance she never announced who she was and showed no sympathy ,consideration, or compassion of what I was going Thur. She sent out a massive email to all parents and staff members referring to me as a disrupt parent with failure to mention that they had lost my children. Not knowing rather or not If I had found my children She had police come to my house and ban me for 1 year off school property knowing I’m a single parent and my children only means of transportation to and from school this shows she doesn’t have my children education or best interest at hand. An although I’d much rather have police come and ban me rather then tell me something happened to my children I still feel the situation is unjustified there was no apology no mediation or meeting to resolve this issue so it doesn’t happen again .Parent Review4y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near Singer Rd.

"Everyone minds there own business, it’s quite, the market is within walking distance, and 7-11 is as well. The kids around here they do play with one another and the buses picks them and drops them off. I just love where I live and would stay in Harford County."
