Here’s what every parent and student should know: • Keep a paper trail (Emails, Phone Calls, Copies of Documents) • Save emails and screenshots • Write down dates, times, witnesses, and exact statements • Follow up after meetings with an email summary • Ask for policies or disciplinary decisions in writing • Do not rely solely on verbal conversations Too many important conversations happen privately where there is no independent record of what was actually said. That is why documentation matters. The reality is that people become comfortable saying things behind closed doors that they would never put into writing or say publicly. Comments or tones that can be rude, dismissive, intimidating, manipulative, or inappropriate because there is an assumption that nothing will be documented and nobody will be held accountable afterward. Emotional reactions from students or parents may later be used against them as justification or defense. It has that smaller, close-knit feel where everyone truly cares about the students and their success. The teachers and staff are supportive, engaged, and go above and beyond to create a positive learning environment. We’ve had such a great experience here and feel lucky to be part of this community.I especially want to recognize Mrs. Lussier in 1st grade. She is truly one of the most amazing teachers we’ve had for our child. She made learning so fun and engaging, and we saw so much growth during our time in her classroom.The little facts and tidbits our child came home sharing each day, the way she challenged her academically, and the genuine care she showed all made such a lasting impact. Mrs. Lussier creates an environment where students feel supported, confident, and excited to learn.She is an incredible teacher and such a valuable part of Coyote Ridge. "30 minutes if there are no accidents. We are halfway between Boulder and Denver. This community puts an emphasis on children and healthy playing."

"We have lived here for 11 years. The neighbors look after each other and are kind and thoughtful. When I had back surgery our neighbors brought over all kinds of food and were very supportive. When we got our puppy they brought over puppy toys and spent the time to play with our puppy. Redleaf Neighborhood in Broomfield, CO is a great place to live."
