    This property has not been hunted consistently for several years. Approximately 5 years ago all of the soft wood and ash were removed leaving the oaks, maple and pines. The property has come back nicely with about 20-25 acres of serious timber and thicket in the back center of the property that does not appear to have been cut. This has become the go to bedding area for the resident herd and it is evident by the tracks and sign. The current owners do not hunt but have permitted a family member to hunt on and off over the past 5 years. It is surrounded by large privately owned parcels and has become a bit of a sanctuary. There is a good solid trail system throughout the property making access easy and quiet. There are several areas that could easily be made into food plots with access from all sides. The oak trees provide a very good food source early in the season and there are crop fields across the road providing more than enough groceries for these deer. Stand locations are everywhere with several pinch points and ambush areas available. There are two very nice cleared areas that would be perfect locations for a camper or camp site. Deer numbers appear to be relatively high with heavy trails throughout the property. There were a lot of turkey tracks in the trails as well. With another year or two of growth and a little work this will become a very solid property to harvest good deer from for years to come.
