7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from CI back before the teacher's strike and the old JH was torn down and replaced by this monstrosity. Back then I would have given the school and the teachers great reviews. Now as an adult with children attending both CRES and CIHS I've got to say how disappointed I am. Children with learning disabilities absolutely fall through the cracks or get labeled trouble makers. I have a straight A student who's labeled because he's apparently "rude" to the lunch lady-no other explanation given. I have a straight F student who was supposed to test at the beginning of the year to see if he needed a para-that never happened- he's a smart kid and his teachers have written him off since he was in kindergarten because he isn't as verbal as other kids. Once the teachers/administrators write off a kid there's very little hope for them in this town- and it's a shame.Parent Review8y ago
