10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am sharing this review in hopes that it helps other parents make an informed decision. My experience, as well as others’, has been disappointing to say the least. For a school located in such an affluent area, the overall experience and standard of care has been a great disappointment. Our primary concern was the lack of academic differentiation and support for students who are ahead of grade level. My child is capable and eager to learn, but instead of being challenged, she often appeared disengaged because the material was repetitive and not adjusted to her ability level. This was at times treated as a behavioral issue rather than an instructional one, which is incredibly frustrating as a parent when the root issue appears to be lack of appropriate academic challenge.Communication and follow-through were also inconsistent. Concerns were acknowledged, but there was little meaningful resolution, which leaves parents feeling unheard.I also had concerns about student welfare and supervision. I personally observed situations where children were injured (including a child with a broken arm), others who appeared consistently underdressed for the weather, and ongoing social issues between students that resembled bullying behavior. These situations raised serious concerns for me about oversight and the overall school environment.Additionally, on numerous occasions I witnessed the handling of behavioral situations involving special needs students in ways that were deeply concerning. Having an autistic sibling myself, I understand sensory overload, and cornering a child who is clearly overwhelmed is not an appropriate way to de-escalate a situation. It felt less like support and more like containment, which was very difficult to watch. We have since moved on to a private school in Palm Valley that feels far less institutionalized and far more child-focused. They address different learning levels through small groups and constant reinforcement to build self-confidence, and their learning model provides more meaningful child engagement through the Reggio Emilia approach. The teachers appear supported, engaged, and happy to be at school, which makes a noticeable difference in the classroom environment.Every family’s experience may be different, but for us, the difference between the two environments has been significant, and the change confirmed for us how much the right school environment matters.Parent Review1mo ago47 Reviews - Alice B. 10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my sons have attended school at Landrum Middle School so that totals 6 years at Landrum. Middle school years are difficult and the teachers and staff at Landrum Middle School work hard every day to guide and direct early teens towards success.Parent Review2y ago24 Reviews - Ponte Vedra High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePonte Vedra High School may look polished on the outside, but once you step inside, it’s anything but positive. From the very beginning, I experienced more stress, anxiety, and isolation than support. The pressure to be perfect is unbearable, and when you ask for help, you’re treated like a burden by the administration. This school loves to call itself “prestigious,” but the truth is—it’s a place filled with pressure, superficiality, and emotional neglect. The staff? Uninformed and out of touch. The dress code is absurdly strict—if you show a shoulder or an inch of midriff, you’re slapped with detention. The counselors spread misinformation. I personally had one tell me that if I transferred to FLVS, colleges would disregard my application. That’s completely false, and it shows how little they understand or care. The school has a known substance abuse problem, and nothing is done about it. Walk into a bathroom between classes, and it’s like stepping into a fog machine—cherry, banana, strawberry vape clouds everywhere. Peer pressure to join in is constant, and the administration turns a blind eye to the obvious nicotine addiction running through the school.Because PV is in a wealthy area, most of the students here are privileged, arrogant, and emotionally disconnected. They expect everything to be handed to them. The school culture is toxic—a nonstop cycle of gossip, fake friendships, and ruthless competition. Everyone’s obsessed with copying the person above them just to climb some imaginary social ladder. It’s exhausting. If you don’t fit their mold—perfect, silent, and smiling—you’re cast aside. The students are heartless. The staff is disconnected. And the longer you stay, the more this place wears you down until you think you’re the problem.I would never recommend this school. I would never send another student here. PVHS didn’t shape me—it taught me how to spot a toxic environment.Student Review11mo ago16 Reviews - Check out schools near Sea Hawk Dr.

"A lot of good places to walk… very peaceful and there is decent lighting for night time. Everyone keeps their dog on a leash too so it seems safe."

"I like my neighborhood. It is very safe. I walk my dog daily two or three times a day at regular times of the day but sometimes around midnight or even 4 am and never had a problem. I used my phone light to be able to see but never had a problem or encounter any issues "
