Started my career out in KISD. Cara Trevino was my principal, she offered no support and never told me anything positive. I taught special ed math, she never taught math nor special ed but gave me terrible reviews despite being out of her depth while also negating my stellar Staar scores. Stay far away, special ed is not valued and new teachers are run into the dirt by people like her.

The fact that yall can't find a child that is on campus is beyond me and yall simply do not care enough kids come from better schools and as soon as they get to rancier don't learn anything.

Hands down a fantastic elementary school, especially for being part of the Killeen school district.I have a fifth grader who has attended since kindergarten. He has loved all of his teachers and it’s insane how many teachers, counselors, and aides all remember his name and are always so friendly. They seem to care about all kids and every staff member I have interacted with is generally in a good mood. There is always a very active security person present on campus.There are SO many parent/student nights and various activities that your child can get involved in. Our favorite has been marimba (percussion instruments) band. The principal is changing going into the 25-26 school year so hopefully all of these positives remain despite the change in leadership.
