"I have lived in this area all my life. I have always felt safe in my home or outside. I have raised my children in this area with all being safe and having good education "

"I live in Middleton TN and it is a nice area to live for country living and privacy. I would rate it more for retired people, families who want very small town living, and non transplants. I say non transplants because some here are not accepting of others moving into this area. Many are set in their ways and there seems to be alot of seperation and ignorance here relating to the different races/cultures. The same goes for the job market and just about anything else you deal with in Middleton and surrounding areas. If you don't know someone or you're not related to someone then your chances of getting a job are slim. Same goes for politics, for 'outsiders' there seems to still be that Good Ole Boy system that is unstated but made very clear in the justice way of things. As for the schools, the Middleton Elementary school is a good school. My opinion of the Middle and High schools isn't as good but hopefully some things will change there. There isn't much shopping, no fastfood, very few jobs, and is a good place to live if you like to drive 20+ miles to get to the nearest Walmart. All in all, it's quiet, private, and has lots of wildlife. Not a bad place but not near the best place to live either. "
