We moved to the area from a larger city and are incredibly thankful for the experience our children have received thus far. What immediately caught our attention is that the students hold the door open for other students as they are entering the school! Respect, consideration and care for others shine through as core tenets of the school. The administration, teachers and staff are delightful - they know every student’s name and support them as individuals. Not to mention - the school has a brand new pool (swimming is part of the physical education curriculum), hundreds of acres of land with hiking trails (it’s amazing getting app updates showcasing photos of my child hiking through the woods for recess), and a five-day-per-week 4-K program (which includes free childcare in the afternoons)! Plus, their music program is outstanding. We can’t say enough great things about Kickapoo!

"Dogs are welcome. Just keep them leashed. I have not run into any negativity towards dogs, and there is a leashless dog park in town."

"The Harvest Parade is one of several unique events free to the public. In the summer there is music and a great sledding hill in the winter."

"Sidewalks are well maintained and neighborhood is quiet, great for walking your dog. No dog parks in city grounds, if you have a small yard or no yard you will have to drive to find a place to let your dog run. "
