Amazing school! I am a current school here and the only problem is I get lost in the high school sometimes cause its big! But a teacher or student will always stop to help if needed. Teachers have a passion for what they teach, always helping people being left behind. I noticed a different review talking about how the math program was an issue because it helped people who were behind too much. So basically that kid just went and said, "oh the school focuses too much on people falling behind, they should make it so we just totally forget about them," that's how I interpreted it, another interpretation from me would be, "oh they focus too much on people falling behind, they should make it so I am the only person they focus on," like dude its a SCHOOL, their job is to help everyone not just you. Back onto the school itself, the classes are great, I love AP science. The students are nice too! Haven't seen anybody bullying or being bullied, heck. the worst I've heard is a few swear words which if a teacher hears they make sure to address it and tell the student to stop. Honestly the only academic issue is maybe a little bit less homework than a normal school. Not always a bad thing just maybe not as much work.

Bullies, poor administrators who are people pleasers, rampant rumors of sexual harassment, vaping & drugs an issue, very different environment from the elementary schools. It’s not a very welcoming environment. Hardly any opportunities for students to be involved in anything but a handful of options of mediocre sports.

I open enrolled my daughter in fourth grade because she wasnot being challenged in her private school. She attended MPS for just a short time and wasn't getting anything out of it either. She immediately loved Edgerton El. and her teacher became the best she's ever had. I was also pleasantly surprised at how fast theteachers/ principal solved any problems that arose. My daughter always felt safe and was accepted well by all the children. I would recommend this school to any one who could get in if not in the district. I will happily continue to transport her to this school considering her previous experiences she's had in school!
