8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at Frankenmuth High School and the Frankenmuth Public School District has been mediocre at best. Over the course of my seventh and eighth grade I was ridiculed by the teachers because of my forgetful tendency. I was called out in front of the class and put on a pedestal of shame as an example of how not to be. In the second semester of my sophomore year my mother and I found out (with great trouble) that I have ADHD and am on the autism spectrum. (although not visually noticeable) So throughout the years that I had been put down because of being "lazy" and "not trying" I was actually trying my heart out, only nobody would listen. The special education program is atrocious in this school district. Many laws regarding special education that were being broken by the school had been covered up in a glorious façade. This school district only focuses on the natural born athletes and the out-going "perfect students." They cover up the wretched special Ed program (that's nearly non existent) and lack of care for the arts. I'm currently a senior attending this high school and am happy to reveal the true Frankenmuth High School that most people don't know about.Other Review10y ago6 Reviews - Lorenz C. List School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I couldn't be more grateful for the experience my child has had at List Elementary. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed, supported, and truly part of a community that puts kids first. The principal is not only visible and approachable but also deeply committed to academic excellence and emotional well-being. You can tell he leads with heart and purpose. The teachers go above and beyond to connect with each student, and it's clear they genuinely love what they do. The focus on structured literacy and the science of reading has made a noticeable difference in our child’s growth—and the school does a fantastic job supporting all learners at every level. We also appreciate the balance of high expectations and a nurturing environment. Events like the Book Character Parade, Harvest Hoedown, and opportunities to give through the Write-A-Check fundraiser show how much List cares about creating joy and connection for students and families alike. It’s easy to see why this school deserves every one of these five stars. List Elementary is a gem, and we feel so lucky to be part of it!Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - E.F. Rittmueller Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI simply could not care less whether the principal is seen spectating at "sporting events" or any other community event. He does however lead a great outdoor program in the Frankenmuth Outdoor Explorers Club. He also goes out of his way to make all students feel welcome and continually searches for new and innovative ways to do so, be it in the classroom, hallway or cafeteria. My student's homework is relevant and rigorous and his teachers are caring and professional. But maybe the Oct. 28 poster is right, let's not judge our principals based upon academic outcomes but as to whether the principal sits in the stands and watches your little Billy kick a soccer ball or cozies up in the BPAC to watch your little Janie do her best imitation of a purple tree in Seussical.Parent Review13y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near Ruff Rd.

"My neighborhood is close to public transportation, the neighbors are great, the town is amazing with tons of community activities. The restaurant are locally owned with amazing food and the big corporate stores are clean with locals that live in the area that know you by name. I was suggest to everyone to move their family up here. Also, the rent is cheaper up here than it is in a big public city. it’s quiet.. One other thing is close to beaches, which is my favorite thing of all time."

"My neighborhood is only blocks from downtown. The theater district, arena, and outdoor event parks are a scant eight blocks away. Along with the farmers market and restaurants these venues are a quick walk from the neighborhood. The Belle Iron Trail meanders along the river and borders the neighborhood. Ojibway Island , zoo and Hoyt Park anchor the southern end of the Cathedral District. "
