Okay/mid school, gifted program offered but not talked about enough, most actually gifted kids never get offered the opportunity to take harder classes. I was never truly challenged in any of the classes I took at BUMS. Athletics are definitely lacking in the sense that budget is not equal for some sports than others. Unruly kids were never truly punished for their behavior while other kids had their education interrupted by the “I do not care” kids. Teachers favorite the kids that are more “friends” with them and discuss their personal life’s. If your child isn’t gifted this is a good school for them.

Upon entering Union Elementary School, one will experience a clean, positive warm and welcoming environment where students, staff, and parents are encouraged to learn and to develop into responsible citizens. Our core values and beliefs include that all students deserve a quality education in preparing for the 21st century workplace. All students learn in a respectful, caring atmosphere within a safe student-centered learning environment. It is for these reasons and more, that the entire school community is involved and eager to ensure the success of all students. In addition to our mission statement, our focus is also on developing positive character traits in our students.
