10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGilmore is a wonderful rural school. Smal in size but has some of the best teachers in the county. With the largest class size being around 20 and the smallest 13, teachers have the ability to spend 1 on 1 time with each child. After my first 2 years I have had nothing but a bad experience there and believe me I could tell you all about it to who ever is reading this, I was being bullied and constantly harassed pretty severely there by other students I was always mistreated and have been struggling academically in high school very badly and even got into a fight because of being bullied and I have reported ALL my problems to the principal and he did absolutely NOTHING about it at all and. this school just loves to lie through there teeth and make themselves look like a team or family oriented environment but this school is literally by no means a team or a family the teachers there are childish and never take accountability for their actions and much rather play the victim and blame the student, they love to pick favorites and leave everyone else out or just treat them unfairly, the amount of assignments they make you do is unnecessary and totally outrageous let alone how terrible there education system is, and if you need help with anything they don't care and are entirely unwilling to do there job and help you, the bathrooms are VERY unsanitary I've even seen a roach in a bathroom sink, the food/lunch is the worst thing ever it taste like garbage, bullying is a big issue fist fights and VERY bad and inappropriate behavior has occurred on multiple occasions because the school is most likely ran by the students and NOT the adults but maybe that's because of a HUGE lack of discipline but I am writing this review by my own experience at ravenswood high school, and I literally just can't wait to transfer to mountaineer challenge academy in just a few weeks from now and finally walk away from this terrible and poorly structured environment and I will never look back at ravenswood high school and I would definitely NOT recommend this school over anywhere else.Student Review2y ago - Ripley High School
