"We have a neighborhood yard sale, trunk or treat, and Christmas light events that make our community special. "
    • Garrod S.
"The town goes all out for Christmas. Most residents decorate the outside of the houses, they put up banners and lights on the street lights, it is a very cozy small town feel for the holidays. "
    • Bennettnhrpro
"The commute is not bad at all. Easy commute...Short 10 minute drive to downtown Louisville. Traffic is minimal if you plan ahead leave early to avoid rush hour. "

"Georgetown is nice and a quiet neighborhood. Remote but not too far from all amenities, only 10 minutes from downtown Louisville. "
    • Gary R.
"I now work from home, but previously worked 30 miles away. I would drive that distance M-F. Closest access to public transportation is in New Albany ."
    • Amy W.
"Close to a large city but with a small city and rural feel. Large houses on large lots. The politics of our neighbors are horrendous but we can relate in other ways"
    • Dani2lynn528

    • Brookeadunn

"I moved here almost nine monthes in the program Providence house. It is a reunifcation, self-suffient program. All i can walk to close to my house is dollar general and the other way i walk about a miles to the marathon. I love that Georgetown is they have a wonderful program and a drive in movie theater. "

"We have several restaurants/stores/gas stations with one light before town. A sense of community is great and the people are very nice everywhere you go. Only 10 minutes from Downtown Louisville, KY and everything you need/want but still living in a rural setting!"
