      "Very dog friendly! Hope for Paws has a lot of events. Most people in the neighborhood have dogs and walk them all around. There aren’t sidewalks though which makes it tricky to walk them down the roads. "

The home of Northwestern State University (NSU), Natchitoches residents enjoy a beautiful symphony orchestra, and many talented artists from the music, dance and drama departments who perform season theatre events. NSU Demon Athletics provide various sporting events throughout the school year and generously offer their stadium to local high schools to accommodate the huge following of supporters they draw.
