Teachers are too easy on students. They have too many opportunities to redo and make up work. This is not the real world. A 70% is a B in my daughter's geometry class. How is that preparing her for college?

My kids love their school! We feel so lucky to be a part of this community. The teachers, support staff, and principal are so kind and welcoming. They have started a new health & wellness center/program that seems to fill the need for support and counseling that that can sometimes be hard to find in public schools. My kids have all kinds of positive stories about the things they learn and the friends they have made. It is reassuring to see a lot of parent involvement as well, which makes the community feel even closer. As a former teacher who spent several years in different school environments, I get the sense that the faculty and staff work well together and this adds to the positive vibes you feel when you enter the school.
