6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI HAVE TWO TENNAGERS ABOUT TO GRADUATE IN TWO YEARS THAT ATTENDED DWJH AND THEY BOTH LIKED THE SCHOOL AS WELL AS THEIR TEACHERS... MY SON NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH TEACHERS OR STUDENTS NEIHER WITH THE STAFF... ANYTIME HE NEEDED HELP WITH ANY SUBJECT THE TEACHERS WERE ALWAYS READY TO HELP... EVEN AFTER GRADUATING FROM DWJH HE STILL CAME BACK TO THE SCHOOL MEETINGS AND WHEN THEY HAD FOOTBALL GAMES TO VISIT TEACHERS AN ESPECIALLY MR DAVIS... MY DAUGHTER LIKED THE SCHOOL... SHE GOES EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE TO SEE HER FORMER TEACHERS... ALSO WHENEVER SHE NEEDED HELP WITH ANY SUBJECT HER TEACHERS WERE HAPY TO HELP... AS A PARENT I DID WITNESS A FIGHT OR TWO... SOME STUDENTS WEREN'T AT THEIR BEST BUT I BLAME THE PARENTS NOT THE TEACHERS... THE TEACHERS ARE THERE TO TEACH NOT TO BABYSIT... THERE ARE ON CAMPUS POLICE IVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT THEM FROM MY KIDS OR THEIR FRIENDS... THIS WAS BACK IN 2014 AND 2015.. NOW I HAVE MY TWO YOUNGEST ATTENDING ONE ABOUT TO GRADUATE TO THE 9TH GRADE THEY BOTH LIKE THE SCHOOL A LOT AND THEY LIKE THEIR TEACHERS AS WELL AS THE STAFF. AS FOR THOSE WHOM COMPLAIN ABOUT THE TEACHERS BEFORE QUICKLY BLAMING THEM MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD ISNT THE ONE MAKING OR CAUSING THE PROBLEMS. I DO HEAR ABOUT TEACHERS CHOOSING THEIR SPECIAL STUDENTS OR BEING RACIST BUT HATS WHY PARENTS CAN SET A MEETING WITH THE PRINCIPAL TO FIX THE PROBLEM. MOST PARENTS THINK BECAUSE THE FOUL MOUTH INFRONT OF THEIR CHILD ABOUT A TEACHER OR ANY STAFF OF THEIR CHILD SCHOOL IS GOING TO FIX A PROBLEM, REMEMBER CHILDREN LEARN AND MIMIC FROM WHAT THEY ARE TAUGHT AT HOME . IM JUST AN HONEST PAREN WHOM HAVE SEEN A LOT DURING THE YEARS AND WAS A FULL TIME TEACHER HELPER ( VOLUNTEER ) FOR SEVEN YEARS. PARENTS GET INVOLVED WITH YOUR CHILDRENS SCHOOL IT MOTIVATES YOUR CHILDREN INTO BECOMING MORE INTERESTED IN LEARNINGParent Review9y ago4 Reviews - Deer Park High School - North Campus

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two kids are currently attending this school. I never had any problems with the school or the teachers. They have so many ways to communicate, so as a parent that is really helpful and convenient. They provide good information about colleges. Overall, I really like this school.Parent Review7y ago9 Reviews - Parkwood Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has the worst program for children with special needs. We were informed that a medical diagnosis was needed to implement a plan of action.A medical diagnosis of Autism was received from a respected psychiatrist. They refused to accept it.We have discovered that the faculty is under trained in dealing with autistic children. We have gone to many meetings. Each one brought to light their lack of knowledge about their own policies and procedures. They have allowed ego to stand in the way of helping and are ridiculously stubborn in the way they cling to an outdated system which allows them to be lazy and unresponsive to the needs of the child.Other Review13y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near RED BLUFF RD.

"When I moved to Pasadena my bike got stolen from my backyard the first day we moved in Every time I try to walk in the neighborhood there are multiple aggressive off leash dogs wherever I go making walking my own dog impossible Can’t wait to move out of here "

"I think that dog owners would like to know that there are loose dogs. Due to this issue it is wise to keep your dogs leashed."

"Horrible. Hopefully the construction off the beltway is near completion but it doesn’t look like it. The 5pm traffic is horrendous with the feeder only open for one lane. "

"mostly hispanic neighbors, half of them can only speak in broken English, but they are all very nice and helpful and non-judgmental. family values, parks, family owned taquerias, home owners really seem to be proud of their houses and put a lot of effort into upkeep and renovations (save for a few white trash homes!) "Dog owners would have enough backyard for their dogs. They also have lots of areas for walking their dogs outside if their houses. People here respect animals. Never seen anybody hurting animals on purpose, unless they are stupid enough to get into some danger to themselves. "
