    Description

Bay front lot with a chance to build on a slab no pilings required! No HOA! One of the last remaining Bayfront lot properties on Redbarn Road in the rapidly expanding and highly sought-after Freeport, FL area. This half-acre+ (.52) waterfront property is situated just off of Hwy 83A (W Bay Loop Rd). It's a relatively flat~356' X 72' parcel providing unobstructed waterfront views with amazing sunrises and vibrant sunsets from the north side of Choctawhatchee Bay. This wonderful lot is situated high and dry in a no flood zone. The property is cleared and won’t take much at all to level. It can quickly be developed to accept your custom dream home. The land is located in Walton County, not in the city; therefore, taxes and associated fees are significantly better. There is no HOA; therefore, no costly HOA fees. This is truly a rare find for this area. Water, power, phone, cable and sewer are available, so no septic tank required. Freeport City Center is a 7-minute drive with Niceville and Defuniak Springs both equidistant at approximately 20 minutes and Destin harbor 45 minutes. Easy access to Hwy's 331, I-10 and I-98 also make this lot geographically desirable. Beaches, Outlet Malls and an abundance of dining locations are all easily accessed via the 331 or Mid bay bridge which put you right in the middle of it all on 98. This location also provides easy access to multiple hospitals and two airports, both 45 minutes away. Take your boat to local waterfront restaurants or you can be at Crab Island, Destin Harbor and Destin East Pass (Gulf water access) in 35 minutes. Freeport offers Elementary, Middle and High schools all within a 10 minute drive. Live in a quiet rural setting with easy access the best that the Emerald Coast has to offer. Directions: From Hwy 20 in Freeport, take County Hwy 83A (Bay Loop) for ~4 miles, then turn onto Redbarn Road. Redbarn Road turns to the right and the property site is the first lot on the left past the brown ranch house and black iron fence runs down the left side of the property when facing the bay. Asking $625,000. Up to date surveys available upon request. All dimensions are approximate and all
information to be verified by buyer/buyers agent.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.

"Mix of old and new. Lots of green belt areas. Wildlife is prevalent and a part of the neighborhood "
    • Nwflconnelly
"Watch out for coyotes and owls. This area is very rural. Also, there are no sidewalks in the neighborhood."
    • Julie Fletcher
"There is no public transportation, so it must have a car to get anywhere outside of the town. Could possibly bike a walk to other businesses in the area. But the town has gotten pretty spread out so that might be difficult."
    • Nwflconnelly
"The street is quiet and we have water views. The wildlife still has room to roam and maintain the natural habitat "
    • Julie Fletcher
"I’ve lived here for four years people. It’s very family friendly. Schools are great and get A ratings. Neighbors are kind and courteous. We are 30 minutes from the sugar, white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, and just 10 minutes from the Bay. There are a lot of nature and walking trails in the area. This is a great place to live if you’d like to go, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding or fishing. So many great spots in the area."
    • Julie Fletcher
