Okay school. Some teachers can be EXTREMELY rude to students AND parents.

The area surrounding the school is very diverse, primarily with well settled highly educated families that have traditional Asian values and high emphasis on academics. However, the area it serves is a very expensive and affluent one, so the kids and parents are very entitled. This definitely affects the kids, Ive seen students who look down at peers who live in apartments and are very quick to be materialistic. They also have little concept of expressing gratitude or showing the concept of community. Despite how academically ambitious the students are usually here, they are not that well rounded. Another thing I observed is resulting from how entitled the parents are, they seem to bully teachers who are more stern and uphold high academic standards. They can be quick to interrogate teachers about their child's grade then proceed to be disagreeable if the child does not get the grade to the parents liking. Lastly, due to how popular FBISD has been and budget cuts, you can expect large class sizes of 25 - 30 kids. All that being said, it is one of the better public schools in the state nonetheless, but of course, make sure you do your due diligence as a parent and community member.
