I will never let my kids go to chardon. Absolutely horrible school district. All they care about is money and if your child is Athletic. If you have neither they can care less. Was bullied by students and teachers.

"People walk their dogs quite often, and they always look like they are having a good time. There is also a dog park within 10 minutes of the neighborhood as well with parks within walking distance and a short drive down the road. "

"It seems like every person has a dog, all different breeds at that!! It’s amazing. We were so worried people would criticize us for having Pitts but our neighbors welcome them in their house as their own! All the neighborhood kids play with them and everyone knows they are ours as soon as they see them."

"sidewalks for walking and everyone seems pretty friendly. most people clean up after their pet. a lot of people have fenced in yards for their dogs. for the most part you don't hear much barking, only on occasion"

"An easy drive with minimal traffic until you get into town. You don’t have crazy high speed limits but they’re fast enough to get you where you need to go. It’s a pretty drive. Minimal stops and pretty much no traffic lights until you’re in town."

"Chardon's traditional neighborhoods of beautiful historic homes along tree-lined streets are safe and welcoming. You will find friendly neighbors and excellent schools. The entire community centers around the historic town square with art galleries, theater, shops, restaurants, farmer?s markets, and concerts in the park."
