If you have a 504, IEP, or any medical condition, the admin team will fight you on everything. They do not care about your wellbeing in the slightest, and will actively try to make any situation worse instead of attempting to support you. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Meadowlark! The school is project-based learning centric, which was new for us, but has been very enjoyable for my 3rd grader. In our experience after almost 2 years at the school, we have felt our son is learning a lot, enjoying his teachers and classes, and having great experiences with his classmates. They do a great job putting kids in cohorts for their skill levels. For example, our son is in advanced math, which he loves. We were initially concerned about the K-8 with bigger kids at the school, but they have the kids in grade “pods” (ex: 3rd and 4th spend time together) and there’s not a lot of overlap otherwise. The principal and APs are very engaged, the school communications are excellent, and the parent engagement opportunities are plentiful. We also use their before and after school program (SAC) and absolutely love it. The SAC program coordinators are excellent. The school itself is also modern and beautiful. We couldn’t ask for more! "This area by Waneka lake is a gem. Close to nearly everything yet a little breathing room with some of the most breathtaking views in Lafayette. Great for exercise and great for bird lovers and nearly every demographic. My favorite place in CO so far to live."
