This is a beautiful parcel of good farm land which is being used both for cattle and for hay. There is a water source on both sides of the road, although it is a small source on the side being used for hay. The largest parcel is mostly cleared land that is used for hay but part is wooded with hardwood trees. The other side of the road is about 50% cleared and there are mature hardwood trees on the other half. You have a beautiful countryside view from this side with a clear view of Buffalo Mountain. If you are looking for land to build a home, there are several gorgeous spots with nice views. There is a spring-fed pond on this part of the property. It is a peaceful area where you can see a few neighbor's houses in the distance but you could have plenty of privacy here, too. It is located approximately 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Gladesboro Elementary School is a superb school. The faculty and staff go the extra mile to ensure that individual student receives a quality education! The administration is also superb. Mrs. Reed is an excellent principal! I would recommend Gladesboro Elementary to anyone who is looking for a public elementary school in the Hillsville area of Southwest Virginia!
