My daughters absolutely love this school! My oldest has been attending since kindergarten, and we’ve been part of the Locust Elementary family for 5 years now.The principal, Dr. Furr, he is amazing — he welcomes every child with warmth and makes you feel safe and confident that your kids are in good hands. The teachers we’ve had have been wonderful: respectful, dedicated, and passionate about what they do. You can truly see that they love their job, and it shows in how they support the students every day.What I admire most is the strong teamwork at this school. From staff to teachers, they create a positive and welcoming environment where children can thrive both academically and personally.It’s a wonderful school, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a safe, caring, and high-quality education for their children.

I watched in horror recently as the Wrestling coach of this school coached and covered a male wrestler in a match against a female wrestler. Even though he had already pinned the girl and all but been declared winner, the wrestler picked up the girl and slammed her face first, into the mat. Needless to say the ambulance needed to be called because of fear of spinal or neck injury. All the while, the coach was smirking on the sidelines and led his team out of the gym even before medics arrived. It is unbelievable that sportsmanship, leadership and character are so lacking in an old misogynistic man coaching our kids. I have decided to pull my son from the wrestling program and all sports. I shall pull him out of this school at the end of this term. It is sad and disgraceful!

BEST SCHOOL EVER SO GOOD NICE STAFF AND HAS NICE PEOPLE MOSTLY.
