"This entire community is dog friendly. Everyone enjoys dogs, even the schools have dogs. I would say households own dogs in this area."
    • Dcoperti
"Cow flop and maple lake church events. The Cub Scout and Boy Scout group is very active. I also like the fact that the borough area for dumping grass and bushes and stuff is always open "

    • Goyeehaw
"The firemenโ€™s picnic and breakfast at one. Of the firehouses once a month. We have had block parties in the past. Also, a community yard sale. Neighbors here get together and are very friendly and nice."
    • Janfaithlanton
"Itโ€™s country but itโ€™s not. You are close to everything. Itโ€™s clean and safe. Thereโ€™s a lot of land and thereโ€™s a lot to do. "
    • Dmxrider1122
"I have owned a home in Moscow Pa for over a year now and I have to say it is the most beautiful serene town you will come across throughout Northeastern Pa. It's very quiet and peaceful, the neighbors are great and are non-intrusive. The town is centrally located just right, Scranton 15 minutes away, Wilkes Barre 25 minutes away, Montage Mtn. only 15 minutes away, and New York City only 1 hour 45 minutes away. Fantastic area to raise your children, the high school is brand new only a few years old and has one of the best overall ratings in the Northeast. Absolutely love living in Moscow and cannot see my family living anywhere else."
    • raydryden
"I live in the area. The area is quiet and relatively safe right now, but there is a transient population center within half-a-mile which reduces safety and security in the area somewhat. There are no local activities for most residents. Scranton is more than seven miles away."
