I urge anyone wondering if they should have their children go here to reconsider. Last school year we had numerous issues that were never resolved because the principal amber Mitchell is friends with a lot of the teachers and refuses to put that friendship aside and do what’s right for these children. This year again issues when I confronted a teacher about it was clear nothing was going to be taken care of so I decided to switch my children. When central caught wind of this they decided to come up with elaborate lies saying I got in a teachers face. There’s video footage that shows that never happened. I made a comment that I was gonna be a problem and they made it seem like that was a violent threat which I have the email it clearly was not. I was called and told I couldn’t pick my kids up like normal I’d need to pick up from the parking lot. That the school was saying all these terrible things. Saying things like they had lots of issues with me last year too. I said that’s so odd because if they had all these issues with me last year and I was this violent disruptive parent then why on earth would I be allowed to volunteer at school events? I wouldn’t it’s so clear they lied it’s clear by facts it’s clear by the camera footage it’s clear by the basic email. This is not over I’ll take this all the way to the top till everyone in the district knows she lied. Anyway I then decided I’d just go get my kids I’d already started the transfer. When I realized the transfer may take a few days ( crazy to me because that’s never been an issue anywhere else) I was confused weather I could even have my kids attend further due to the extent this school had gone to spear my name. I called them and even though my children are still enrolled I was told no they couldn’t come back I had my husband call and ask because I thought no way they would violate state and federal laws by denying my children education sure enough he was told no as well. I then reached out to another person at admin and was told yes my children were still enrolled and were allowed to go back until the transfer went through. At this point I don’t even feel my children are safe in their care. It’s a feeling of how far is this principle willing to go clearly she’s willing to cross a lot of lines to try to make this seem like it’s a parent issue not a school issue. So if you stand up for your kids and are an involved parent steer clear from central they don’t like parents like us.

It's ok, Well it's a school I've had bad days and good days.

Principal Teresa Heide does not reach out to parents to find out what is happening at home, when I came in to the school to try to partner to help my teen, she was cold, closed, and unwilling to listen. I wanted to change my kids classes, she refused, insinuated we were uneducated and poor, with comments like, "if money is an issue..", etc. I also met with the superintendent Dr. Christopher Pesuski, he said he would call me back with a resolution, its been 3 weeks. No call, doesn't care. This school is A.W.F.U.L.
