7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNothing terrible to say about this school besides the main office. TAMMY comes off extremely rude with a negative energy in person and over the phone. She just seems miserable everyday. Replace the unhappy with loving people. Can you imagine how the children feel around her!?Parent Review9mo ago11 Reviews - Hardin Valley Academy

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Hardin Valley a few years back and it was a great experience but it has gone downhill. With the new principal and staff my siblings have faced discrimination. Recently I went to the school and encountered a rude office staff. I wasn’t aware one couldn’t bring drinks from the outside and she gave me attitude about it, when I had told her I didn’t know. She proceeded to say “she wasn’t going to allow it” and looked down on me for not knowing. Before office staff were so nice and kind, now everything is changing.Other Review3y ago22 Reviews - Check out schools near PINE St.

"Houses are older, but very well maintained houses and yards. Good size lots. Great mix of ages and other demographics live here. Neighbors out at night in the yards and waving. Reminds me of home long time ago. "

"I grew up in this neighborhood. Wish very much to move back. But at 64 yrs of age, not gonna happen. But, the lucky person to obtain this home will be very satisfied. Great neighborhood, great schools and very nice home. Wish you luck on your journey. Rambling Acres is a great place to live. And I'm sure the Landlord will be the same, Great"

"Sequoyah Hills is a fantastic neighborhood that dates from the 1930s. It was designed in a very forward-thinking way that makes living there possible for many demographics. On the other hand, a lot of tear-downs are happening, with normal houses being replaced by mansions. "

"My neighborhood is more like a family of community. Everybody works as one if one doesn’t have it. The other may have it. We just try to uplift each other to the best of our abilities because we believe that everybody deserves a second chance at life."

"If you’re a woman walking your dog/dogs alone no matter what time of day please be aware of surroundings. I was followed to my home by a man & he had to have ran because once I noticed him keeping pace behind me I started running. He actually knew where I lived already & beat me there because he was in my back yard area when I walked through the door and went to the back to lock it. Other than that sidewalks are good for the doggies. Too much fast moving traffic as well on the roads in residential areas. "

"The city as a whole has becoming increasingly “sketchy” throughout. It still has good parts but even those areas are not as good as what they were 8 years ago. I’d suggest doing some strong research."

"Walk to breweries, cute shops, good places to eat, and the last Sunday market. The local school for K-5 is special, great and place for young children. The park on the river offers a great playground and convenient place to put kayaks in the river."
