4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers at this school are there for the students. They reach out to the parents even though many times the parents want little or no involvement in their child's education. If a student is not progressing; then, 9 times out of 10 it is the student's lack of initiative, refusal to do homework or parents that just don't have time to provide proper guidance to their child's development.Other Review8y ago2 Reviews - Lee High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSince I moved to lee, I haven't learned that much. I mean I have, but they don't teach it as great as sterling. Also discipline, mostly everybody has been disrespectful to me and other peers. I expected more from this school!Student Review9y ago10 Reviews - San Jacinto Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSan Jacinto Elementary in Baytown Texas is a great school. My granddaughter loves going and that says a lot about a school. The environment is one of happy faces and Ali reads very well. Ali is going into the second grade and reads at a 3rd grade level in my opinion. Tonight she is going to meet her second grade teacher and I see an excited little girl. Makes my heart happy to see her enjoy school so much! I attribute that to the wonderful staff that teaches and leads the children. The crossing guard Ms. rose (that is not her name but is close) makes sure the children are safe. That is my biggest concern...no safe roads are around the school. There is not any parking so there can be no plays are parent participation because there is not any parking for parents to become a proud participant in the child's development. If there was parking this would be a five star school! Thanks to everyone from the cafeteria and janitors to the teachers and principle Ali is a happy school girl. Thanks to all for everything:)Other Review12y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near Pine St.

"Nearby park walking trail leads to larger park with dog parks for larger and smaller dogs. Walk is less than 1/4 mile to walking trail from the surrounding neighborhoods "

"There are sidewalks throughout most of the neighborhood. Also JC Holloway park is one street away. The walking trail connects to a larger park with trails and a dog park. The fenced dog park is separated in two sides for larger and smaller breeds to play safely."

"For the most part the area is a decent place to walk your dogs. The only problem I see is that about 50% of the dog owners do not pick up poop from their dogs. there is a great alternative about 3 mi away is a dog park that is well groomed has an area for both large dogs and small dogs. I rather take my dogs there on the weekend so they have plenty of area to play and run."

"There are no sidewalks in my neighborhood but a few people walk their dogs. Most dogs are outside dogs, so you don’t see those dogs walked much. There is also one dog park in Baytown."

"People mostly keep to themselves around my current area. It is a predominantly hispanic community now and a lot of people are selling. We are moving as well as the crime and traffic has skyrocketed the last year. It takes almost 30 mins to simply get across town now when it used to only take about 10. "

"There’s a lot of great parks in the area with plenty to do for kids. This town is big enough to always meet new friends but not too big where everything is over crowded and you can still see a familiar face every now and then. "
