This school is more student focused and not reputation focused like CV. My son is doing fantastic in this district and I look forward to him graduating with honors.

I can’t say enough good things about the Washington Heights Elementary school. My child has a learning disability and this is the first time she’s ever been happy when she returns from school. ( we moved from the “amazing” CV school district) Shes allowed to remain in common classes with other students instead of being sent off to separate classrooms ( for learning disabilities) like they used to at her old school. The hype and claim that CV school districts are superior must be for real estate gain or redlining. I can’t stress enough that we have had 10x better of an experience here at Washington Heights. The teachers and staff are wonderful and very involved. I would absolutely recommend this school district.

The teachers are either trying to be friends with the students or talk down to the students. Administration only wants students to write papers for discipline. Physical & mental bullying. No parents contacted of your child is assaulted by another child. Teachers are on cell phones or laptops as much if not more than teaching. A disgrace to tax payers money.
