4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child went here for 6 months and it was awful. Coming from a private school to this school was an absolute nightmare. Teacher was very rude, lacked communication skills, very unorganized. I do not recommend at all. Thankfully he is back in a private school for third grade.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Foley High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated class of 2025 and this school was a very fun experience! I had no problems with teachers all my four years, and safety in the school is VERY VERY good they take lookdowns very seriously and they will protect students! I’ve seen this personally! Overall everyone is kind and respectful I would recommend everyone to go to Foley High School also the FFA is a great program I wish I were still in school to do FFA!Student Review1y ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near Pine Rd.

"Don’t see too many dogs and they are not allowed on the beach. Otherwise seems friendly and some amazing food. "

"Great place for families. Plenty to do, see, and lots of great places to eat. Would definitely consider coming back here again if not relocating here. Everything seems to be within walking distance. "

"Do not commute but travel to local shopping centers and the beach is not stressful but can become very crowded and slow during summer months which are the peak of tourist season."

"I love it here bc I have lived here my hole life. There are lots of welcoming parks and it is easy to make friends here for the kids, always new people. Not gonna lie there is a lot of traffic, but you get used to it and start to see all the beautiful things about the city "

"Long drives and parking for beaches are very limited! Even longer drives to get to the grocery stores and back! Summer traffic is horrible 2 hours to move 4 miles at times! "

"Gulf Shores is definitely a tourist hotspot. When weekends come you can't really get a good parking spot at the beaches, so be prepared to walk. Also, most beaches here do not allow your pets at all. If you have a cabana at the beach, you'll be far back and not closer to the water. This place is pricey when it comes to eating out. I'd say overall, it is a great vacation spot. "

"If you're considering moving here from out of state there are a few things to consider first. The public schools aren't all that good. The groceries are expensive. There isn't a really good night life here, incase you're needing a night out. Most restaurants we've been to allow smoking. The school bus driver yelled and pointed in the children's faces most of the time throughout the year. "
