6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThree of my children have attended this school. They have received a vastly superior education to the one I got at another school locally. I can tell by the conversations they have with me about their studies and the fact that much of what I learned at university, they have learned buy 10th grade. There are a variety of ways to access college-level courses. There are some teachers who have been better than others, but there have been none whom I have any reason to think are not capable or not acceptable for any reason. We had a bad experience with one of the sports programs a few years ago. But that is far from a deal-breaker. I actually think the school dealt with the situation, but I'm not sure. My son was injured by another student on campus last year. When I talked to the school about the incident, I feel that the assistant principle handled it in the best possible way. My kids are not special-needs. They are mixed-race. I see that great-schools has this school listed as a 5 of 10 stars. I do not completely understand how that computation is calculated, but I can't imagine a public school being much better than this one. Our family being zoned for this high school has been such a tremendous advantage for my family.Parent Review4mo ago21 Reviews - Eagles Landing Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHi, Im a recent alumni of eagles landing, I personally found my time at eagles to be the worst and best thing to ever happen to me. I have found certain staff members and teachers to be rude disrespectful and just condescending. Lots of teachers have no clue how to discipline and control a class and some are not engaging when teaching. Staff such as admin who are there to support and protect students do not do their jobs well or they do the bare minimum, there's has been an uproar of racism and bullying throughout the years, everyone at the school knows that there is no point in going to talk to an AP because nothing will be done. But the programs at the school are great, the fine art teachers truly care about their students and want to see them succeed. The theatre program is AWESOME uhh I hope that made sense (>_<)Other Review7mo ago24 Reviews - Sunrise Park Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe administration has no concept of how to manage the car line for starts and their communication with parents is beyond poor. Example: Not one substantive email over the entire Summer regarding the upcoming school year and not until a week before school starts do I have to call and find out that teachers will not be assigned until thursday prior to the Monday first day of school and parents are expected to rush in that friday between 9-11 to meet their childs teacher. Nice planning. I guess they were too busy vacationing the past 3-months to bother with any semblance of preparation for the new school year. After last year's incompetence, perhaps it's no surprise.Parent Review1y ago36 Reviews - Check out schools near Persimmon Ave.

"It’s a great, walkable community mostly for adults. Tourists with children tend to stay at hotels near the beach, but residents wise it’s mostly educated adults. "

"At least once or more a week, there’s a loose dog running around. I have found none to be aggressive, but if you have a reactive dog (towards other dogs) like me it’s an uneasy feeling to walk them every day."

"Beachy town east of I-95. Safe, active and peaceful. Lots to do. Shoppings everywhere as well as restaurants and nightclubs. Atlantic Avenue is lively and wonderful for the local community as well as for outside visitors. There is a crowd for every age and every taste but once again....it is safe. Love this place. "
