"It's a pleasant place to live: there are several parks, and one of them is simply wonderful, featuring an excellent children's playground. The schools are superb, and issues with bullying are virtually non-existent. Children have a great variety of sports sections to choose from. As for the less convenient aspects: • For instance, in Goochland County, the maintenance of trees along power lines is not as meticulous as in neighboring Fluvanna County. • Some local roads are quite narrow, so passing an oncoming car requires attention. • Unfortunately, Columbia's main street does not look its best: many of the homes are dilapidated, inhabited by people needing special care, and this significantly detracts from the view. • It's also worth noting that good, high-speed internet is, regrettably, not yet available here."
