4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student of CHS and the administration is absolutely horrible, I honestly wish florida wasn’t a 2 party consent state so i could have recorded the things admin as well as teachers were saying about not only each other but other students. And do not expect to get anything done with the counselors they are also extremely unprofessional and they do not care about you or your student they care about having the most relaxed day they can. I have also been told by multiple teachers and staff that the counselors like to talk a lot of trash about the students that actually like to make the counselors do there job instead of dragging a 5 minute conversation through 3 weeks of emails.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO BE SUCCESSFUL.Other Review2mo ago7 Reviews - Longwood Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child loves it here and I do too! Everyone at this school is so warm and friendly! I feel like they treat every child special, just melts my heart.A quick story...one day I dropped my son off and it was not the best morning (wasn’t listening and had a bad attitude) and the Resource Officer has seen my child always in the morning smiling and so she got down and just chatted and hugged my son. I was driving away smiling! What an awesome thing to notice he was having a bad day and helped him get out of his funk. It made me want to cry because it was such a small thing but made such a huge impact!Parent Review7y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near Patrick Dr.

"Good neighborhood. However, there is wild bear problems. We must keep our trash inside until trash day or the bears will rummage our trash. The bears also destroy fences and rain gutters. We do not walk around this neighborhood because of the bears. Though i see a few people walking their dogs."

"Crime is very high in the area. My street is mostly crime free due to the high number of retired people. "

"Dogs are welcomed by most except landlords. A large percentage of the population owns pets and no one wants pets in the home they are renting. We wonder why there’s a high number of strays and animals in the pound."

"This is a nice quiet area that is 10 minutes from Hurlburt Air Field and 15 minutes to Eglin AFB. We are also five minutes from the hospital and other medical facilities in Fort Walton Beach with easy access to all shopping and restaurants while only 20 minutes to the beach!"

"SAMs club Lowe’s and Walmart are within walking distance. Senior high school and midd;e school is walking distance as well as the elementary school. We are located between Eglin AFB and Hurlburt AFB. 7 miles from the beaches. The airport is about 5 miles away. Hospitals are about 3 miles. The neighborhood is safe and the people are friendly and speak to each other. Everyone keeps there lawn groomed and there are no junk cars in front of houses. People clean up behind their dogs. It’s a good neighborhood. A car is needed to get around, everything is spread out. "

"Mayflower Avenue is a heavily traveled road , most people ignore the 35mph sighs. I think large speed bumps should be installed. I live on a corner and speak to my neighbors often while working in my yard. It’s a friendly neighborhood. Just heavy traffic!"

"this is a great neighborhood affordable and some senses I am paying way too much for when I'm running I could get a two-bedroom for almost the same price but this is a nice neighborhood as far as I know my neighborhood goes close to Walmart close to all retail stores grocer and wholesale"

"I have lived in this neighborhood for a couple years and it's not been bad it's convenient to large retail stores grocery stores you practically do not even need a car to live here this is probably one of the best places to live as far as convenience goes because you have everything around you here including bus stops and also groceries and restaurants and Parks and numerous other activities that you could do that pertain to living in a neighborhood."
