I went to this school growing up a while ago, and I can tell you, they were truly the halcyon days of my youth. Amazing personalized attention, wonderful teachers who deeply care about each and every student, a warm administration who is on the ball, and parental involvement is at staggering levels. It was a bit of a culture shock when I got to CSDHS to see that SDS isn't how all schools function. The Gifted and Talented Program, although quite small, was extremely supportive of my interests and my creativity. Some of the projects I did there, I was even able to refer back to in college! Talk about great hands-on learning. This school is one of the true gems on the Eastern Shore, and I credit a huge amount of my positive, happy upbringing to the experiences I had at SDS.
