5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur daughter has been attending this school since kinder and she's in second grade now. I could not have asked for a better environment for her. All teachers and staff are amazing. Communication with the school is great, I love their one call system to remind of upcoming school delays, closings, teacher in-service days, etc. The behavior color system they have set up is amazing because it isn't to just punish those making poor choices, but rewards those who show the schools star behaviors (be responsible, be a problem solver, be caring, be respectful) and making good choices throughout the day. I know the overall rating for this school is low, but I believe it should be higher. This school has been amazing over the years and we are sad to have to be leaving such a great school.Parent Review11y ago9 Reviews - Spinning Hills Middle School (5-6)

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I went here it was horrible. Im finally moving districts, but while attending (this past year, 2025-2026) Kids threatened my life, called me slurs, and bullied me constantly. Nothing was done. The current vice principal is incompetent, and does nothing to protect your child if they are not white, straight, rich, or popular. I was targeted by two of my peers, and they would bully me, harras me, and even lied about me calling them the n-word after I came forward to him about them calling me the f-slur because I'm gay, and bullying me and my friend. He did nothing except say "Ill talk to them" which only made things worse. Do not take your child here if you want repercussionary actions taken towards bully's. Most of the teachers are great, and they are extremely kind (again, most. Some are horrible to be around). One of the counslers was extremely nice to talk to, but then I brought up needing a 504 and she immediately became rude. The second you make some of these staff members do their job, they become hostile and horrible. I have a friend in this school who was and still is struggling with health issues that effect her ability to do anything, especially go to school. When she was in the hospital trying to figure out what was happening to her, her absences were counted as "un-exused". She was in the hospital, and they didn't care. There is one newer teacher who is clearly prejudiced, and treats gay people differently from others. He prioritizes straight popular boys over " weird" or alternative kids, and straight up does not care about the gay students. My friend (straight A's yet openly gay) asked him to go into the advanced social studies class in Stebbins, and was denied, yet my other friend (C's and D's, straight) asked him to go into the class and was accepted. Again, most teachers here are great, and I did learn a lot while here. Your kid will definitely get the skills that you would expect from a middle school I guess, but it's not worth it considering all the bad that happeneds here. Your kids mental health at this school will be horrible and that's that. Dont send your child here.Student Review1mo ago8 Reviews - Stebbins High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is pretty average.... If not- below average for sure. Teachers are the biggest problem id say. The curriculum isn't great as many students aren't where they need to be in math or English. as a student, I find their work a waste of time- every assignment is dumbed down and tests are super easy ( except for science because that teacher is evil ) most teachers WILL NOT confront students for bad behavior and allow classrooms to be chaotic. It's fun- but like they need to lock in. SO YEAH. Many options for in school activities and programs. Many medical lockdowns for some reason??? This is a good school unless you care about getting a high education... sports coaches are awesome and there are a handful of engaging teachers but not many. Ive been to ALOT of schools and this is probably the dumbest one I've ever seen. Hope this was helpful ig.Student Review2mo ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near Opperman Ave.

"There is nothing too unique about riverside. It's close the the Airforce museum and not too terribly far from the Fairfield commons mall. The cost of living is fairly low as well. Not quiet but not a loud area either. "
