The gate/driveway is located on the first lot with the structure located on the second lot. This home needs lots of work, but at this price the results could be amazing. The home is elevated and the views of surrounding forest is stunning. There is a 96 sq ft porch at the top of exterior stairs. The exterior stairs are in disrepair, so there is no safe access to upper floors. Seller is not liable for unauthorized entry. Lots of photos of the condition inside the home should give you a accurate idea of the scope of work. The roof is currently leaking and evidence of mold growth is apparent on two walls in the living room. The solid construction of the structure can be observed under the home and the exterior walls feature cedar siding. The living room features vaulted ceilings and an open concept to the dining/kitchen area. There is also a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. Another bedroom is upstairs with an additional small room off of this bedroom. Parking is under the home and there's plenty of storage area here as well. There is also a small storage shed on the property. Home was built with permits, but the building permit was never finaled and since expired. The plumbing permit was completed and the electrical permit is still active. This home has never been hooked up to electric, owner used a generator for power needs. This home is being sold "as is".

    "To the town of Pahoa it’s only about nine minutes. For a commute to Hilo it’s closer to 35. Most of the things that we need are within a 10 minute drive. But this allows for quiet neighborhoods and fairly dark skies at night for stargazing. Traffic is usually light except when there is construction. Even when is there is it’s usually only a momentary delay. "

Dog’s seem to represent a measure of security for the house owner. There are no dog parks per se in this area but plenty of quiet streets to walk your dog on. "
