Off rt 35/20, Grantsville, WV 26147

I have 2 children that have gone or are going to this school. Much need for improvement. There test scores are terrible. I don't agree with the way they do things now days. They are expecting these children to know so much and if they don't get it they move on to the next thing. My daughter is now in middle school and is suffering as a result of this. Also my son had a kindergarten teacher that was absolutely wretched! He had a bad day and she said if he continued he would be sent to the principals office. After sending a supportive note to her stating that I didn't want him acting up at school to send him if she felt he needed to be sent. She wrote back to me in stated "I wasn't asking for your permission I'll send him regardless!" Who does that? Another incident the gym teacher sent my child outside to pick up the balls off the playground then left her and she was locked out of the school by herself. Thank god she knocked on another teachers window and they let her in. Anything could have happened to her. Honestly I wish I was able to home school my children but needing the income I have to work. My children could have better care and education at home!
