Off Race Rd, Channing, MI 49815

Could not recommend this place any less. As an alumni who has the displeasure of attending and who's siblings suffer through it, I hardly know where to begin. Sports is rampant with favoritism beyond any reasonable expectations. Athletes are treated like dirt unless they have the right last name, without the best interests of the students or team in mind. The social club that both parents and adults have means that you and your child are outcasts unless you are in the right family or have the right name. While this is expected everywhere, it is especially rampant in this podunk small town. As for bullying? According to this "principal" it is something that can't be addressed. It just happens and your kids have to deal with it. Sorry, but you're in a high school of 100, it's not hard to at least make the effort. And worst of all? The education is subpar at best. Attending college after being here means you have to work twice as hard as usual. Faculty would rather play games than give your children a decent education. How some of these teachers have a job is beyond me. I guess when everyone is related, it helps. In summary, if you want your children to have a positive experience, don't send them here. If you want subpar teaching, limited athletic opportunities, and harassment by both adults and children, then I guess this is the place for you.
