I am a current senior at this high school and I can tell any wondering parents to not send your child here unless you want their mental health to decline. This school is run by an administration that will not tell parents when dangerous situations happen like when on a half day a student had threatened to shoot up said school and the cops were there. No message was sent out to students nor parents but students including myself saw the cops. They also continuously favor students, as well as only believing teacher. There is a teacher here that has been horrible to students including myself. I have had this teacher four times in two years in four different subjects. And I can confidently say she has been the worst teacher I have ever had. She talks about students who miss a lot of school and when confronted about it she will lie. She also switches up between classes. I have her 3 times this year and her persona changes in each class. She treats me differently in all 3 classes. Acting like I don’t exist in the first two but then she’s my bestie in my last hour class. She will lie to students and manipulate them when they point things out to her examples would be when students ask if their answer is right and she will say yes and then when they get them back graded she had marked it wrong and when confronted she lied. Multiple students backed the other one up because they know this wasn’t the first time she’s done this to said student. She will also bring up personal things to students when she’s angry at them as well as treat them disrespectfully afterwards. She will also be acting more like a student than an adult. When things don’t go her way she pouts in the back of the room like a toddler. By the time your child reaches sophomore year most teachers will have given up years before and waist your children’s time but only showing movies, videos, or busy work that doesn’t really teach them anything. More often than not your son or daughter will find themselves on their phones instead of being taught.
