Of course people who have grown up here either entirely love, or entirely hate this school, but as someone who only attended for junior and senior year of high school, it is terrible. I can remember only five teachers in the entirely place who actually care, and the counselling, and higher staff are extremely superficial which makes it feel like your'e talking to someone who thinks of you as a little number in their game of statistics. Seriously, the things I would say about this school would get my review thrown off this site for obscene profanity. Keep your kids happy, and keep them out of APW.

I've lived in Williamstown practically my whole life. I am a graduate of APW with children of my own, both currently attending the elementary school. In my experience, teachers and staff have have been absolutely wonderful and will go above and beyond to see your child succeed. Communication with/from teachers or administrators has been excellent as they go great lengths to make sure all parents are informed via call, text, email, etc. The school also holds tons of events for parents and students alike with something for literally EVERYONE. Inclusivity is huge and they have done some amazing things to make sure no one is ever left out. My children are making great strides in their academics and extracurriculars but in the event they need additional help, we can always count on their teachers for guidance and support.Im aware of the negative things some in the community have to say about our schools....Ive been hearing the same worn out grievances for 30 years now. Any relevant criticisms from this actual decade, are challenges that every surrounding school system struggles with as well. Its time to stop letting the small town generational opinions of others dictate the actual truth of it all.I love APW and hope to see my grandchildren attend some day too.
