NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids goes to this school for 4 years now. They likes school. I do, too. They have wonderful teacher and staffs. Yes, they are academic strong. Also, I feel kids is enrich with experience and grow to be a good citizen. I can't say for all the teachers. But my kids have met great teachers with good characters that influence them to be good citizen and encourage them to thrive. A lot of teachers in this school has been teaching here for a while cause they likes their job and like this school. And happy satisfied teacher treat/ and teach kids well. Ex : one school year day my kid share with me. mom, it's ok. Life is not smooth. My teacher said " Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass: it's about learning to dance in the rain. She recite it by memory. I can see that her teacher tell them not only one time. so she remember it. Ex: they have eggs in the classroom just to show kids how chicken was bornEx : The whole class write a book and publish it. Ex: They let kids involve in a radio opening for a day. It's quite a experience to hear my kids sing national anthem from a local radioEx: they have class pet. kids learn with animal and grow compassion. And one year one of my kids class pet passed away. And the teacher did a great job use this oppotunity to undersand death and welcome new pet.Ex: their school field trip is actualy letting kids play and have fun. At first I didn't understand. Then I see the wisdom in it. I remember boring field trip when I was kid. These are just few examples of how teacher and school put heart in their education and passion about what they do. And they do a really good job on no bully or any kind. My kids goes to school feel safe and I feel at ease. ( my kids told me his teacher run and also like jump acroos the room to stop a kid cause she saw something is wrong. This school does take it seriously. And if a kid is bully. They effectly guiding the kids day by day till he feel loved and change.( personal experience that my kids told me the change of a kid from 1st grade to 4th grade)Parent Review1mo ago7 Reviews - Valley View High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a school belongs to valley view school district, which have one school for kids from every age of kids from pre-k to high school. After k - 2nd grade in valley view elementary school. You kids would go here for 3rd - 5th grade. Then continue to Valley View middle school. I like this school for it's quality teaching and teachers are responsible and likes their job. Teachers stays for years. And that's how I know my kids are in good hands cause teacher is not treat poorly. And teachers are team and help one another. You wouldn't need to concern that kids get less quality Education cause of got into a class that teacher is less experience or " not as good". Or a parent sponor stuffs for their own kid teachers which make your family background or race or anything matters to kid's Education quality. This school has good system. Teachers don't try to impress you. And you don' t need to impress them. Teachers can just focus on teaching and they apprantly doing really well on that. And every class teachers in. the same grade has are teaching same things are on the same page. My kids can tell teachers are all friends with one another. And they have pretty open communication using a Valley View school app. You would know exactly how to help your students, what's going on...etc. At last, the teachers do effectively help each students to be on track, not just focus on the good students. As a parents that really care about my kid's education. I feel at ease and don't need to do much to ensure my kids be treated well. Cause I know they will. If I need to use few words to discribe: fair and square, caring, chill, relax, happy, dedicated on quality of teaching.Parent Review1mo ago1 Reviews - Valley View Junior High School
