    • David R.
"There is little to no traffic in the morning and the drive to the interstate is short and sweet. There's a back way to Trussville/Moody. "
    • John A.
"I like living here and all in all am happy with leeds and what it has to offer Crime is not best in parts but I haven't had much of a issue personally. My neighbors are friendly. it's close to interstate and major highways. affordable, beautiful city"
    • John A.
"some places safer than other but I feel safe all over area. crime is in all communities and thos is no exception. but I've loved and had no prob personally "
    • Kristine R.
"I live near all the shops and restaurants. you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. i love leeds"

    • Tashagarner22
"Need stricter speed enforcement in residential area by food giant / Frisco Ace. People run stop signs and drift / race all the time."
    • Neil L. J.
"there are sidewalks leading to the big public park that has a creek running through it. there are always dogs and their owners there playing"
    • Laura B.
"Leeds has good schools that are very safe. The police are very community oriented. It’s a good city to raise kids."
    • Lhbrown0914
"Family friendly close to Birmingham and many area attractions like Barbour Motorsport Park, Southern Museum of Flight, Civil Rights Institute, Talladega Supersoeedway"
    • Lhbrown0914
"It’s small cozy and friendly. It’s close to Birmingham a large metropolitan area but still has a small town feel."
    • Susan C. M.
"Quiet street and not too busy to walk pets safely. Pet friendly "............ no sidewalks no pet area but the park is close by"
    • Susan C. M.
"The school system is good and the teachers go out of their way. The downtown area is improving and there is a great little bar. "
    • Bensonsnicole
"My commute is 30 mins, often hindered by trains and school traffic. Not the best. Convenience to shopping is great though. If you work in Birmingham you have to leave extra early to make sure you get where you’re going on time. "
    • Caprisailor
"There are residents of all ages and it is very safe and the people are nice and keep there houses in good repair and nice lawns. It is reasonably priced and is a nice neighborhood of all races and ages to live. There are nice parks and shopping for essentials is convenient. It is safe to walk my dogs at night even downtown it also has dog friendly places that I can take my dogs with me to have a beer and listen to live music with confidence of being safe. It is a family oriented community but it is not the best place to live if you haven’t any family or longtime friends here. It is a difficult place to make friends If you are single and not from here and retired."
    • Liza W.
"Leeds has a great school system. it's a charming town where people say hello in passing. there are holiday parades and lots of family events. It is a great place to raise a family "
    • Cmsaldana85

    • Jos S.
"Small town, not too much traffic has exactly just what you need. I like it here. It's calm peaceful and has good parks to take your family and pets "
    • Mitziolivo
"I love Leeds , it’s peaceful, quiet, and like another places we have here and there some bad news but not all the time "
    • donotlivehere
"Do not move to Southern Trace. Residents to not care about speeding. The neighborhood is treated like a drag strip. Bad area for families with kids."
    • chris
"I live in Cahaba Hills, we are next to new Grand River Mall, one block from multi-million dollar new school system (Leeds own), near new park, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Bass Pro Shop and Barber Motorsports Park. Area is growing quick. Easy access to Hwy 119 to 280 or straight to 459 and I20."
    • Brenda T.
"I have been a home owner in Leeds since 1979. It is a quiet town with great new schools. The sports programs offered are very good in the schools as well as little league. Getting to downtown or 280 only takes about 20 minutes. There is a new shopping mall, Bass Pro Shop and plenty of restaurants. The city has two excellent parks for children. Plus, one park has a mile or 1/2 mile walking track. The Civic Center offers a place to work. There are other gyms to joins as well. It is a great place for families because The Leeds schools are no longer a part of the Jefferson Co School system. It is now called Leeds City because they pulled out of Jefferson Co and built a new middle school and high school. The football team won state two years in a row. Plus, the basketball team also took state in 2010. Leeds is only about 125 miles to Atlanta and I-20 runs within a couple of miles of anywhere in the town. Interstate 459 is just a few miles away where it connects to I-65 as well as I-59. Downtown thrives and has plenty of businesses for people to shop. We even have a great hardware store where the employees will help you with all of you questions. I can't praise Leeds enough."
