6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI hate bms so much I come here everyday for the past 2 year and I haven’t learned a single thing. The only kids that get recognized are the popular kids or the kids of color. It gets so annoying cause all the popular kids fat shame, say racial slurs, don’t respect people’s boundaries, disrespect the teachers, and are over all so annoying. I do not recommend this school if you want your kid to start vaping, SH, or anything bad. There are a few kids that are nice and will respect you but a lot of the time there aren’t. The kids who aren’t ’normal’ get bullied and left out from a lot of things. I am personally apart of the lgbt community and I get harassed everyday cause of it. I’m still Christian and I get the jokes but a lot of kids still go to far. 2/10 don’t recommendStudent Review2y ago13 Reviews - Matthew Turner Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved from Concord due the poor schools in the area. Matthew Turner is a 180 in comparison. My daughter absolutely loves the school, teachers, staff and PTA. Everyone goes up and beyond to give kids great experiences on a daily basis. I’ve even known people to drive from Orinda to bring their children here. Highly recommend!Parent Review8mo ago17 Reviews - Check out schools near Ofarrell Dr.

"We’ve had a 4th of July block party for a few years that is about it. We have lived in the same house approximately 45 years. Most of the neighbors have been here many years like us. My brother and his family is across the street so it’s a pretty close knit group here we have known for many years "

"Although Benicia is a safe city in general, it’s crucial for parents to still be vigilant with kids up to high school age. There are many folks from surrounding cities who come and have made Benicia a bit unsafe lately."

"Bedroom community in decent commute distance to all the major cities. Best place to raise a family. Lots of “return” citizens, meaning they grew up here. They left and then they came back to raise their families. Really great town and community. "
