8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe educational standards at this school are alarmingly low, and I feel my child isn’t truly learning. The way the material is presented seems overly complicated, turning what should be simple concepts into confusing lessons that hinder students' ability to understand and retain information. Additionally, there’s little to no homework, further limiting their ability to reinforce what they’ve learned. Despite my child receiving excellent grades, they seem to have learned very little. How is this possible? The arts are almost entirely neglected—art and music are combined into one class—and many teachers seem burnt out and uninspired. I regret purchasing a home in this district. Despite paying exorbitantly high taxes, the schools remain underfunded and fail to provide the quality education expected.Parent Review1y ago14 Reviews - Wayside Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with Wayside Middle School has been so far, so good. We recently moved into the new building this year- it's cool with its white walls, clear glass, and blue here and there for Wayside - and I can say that my teachers and counselors, especially the ones who have been teaching for quite a few years, are amazing in their personality and patience. Like any teacher should, if a kid has a genuine question about their work, they'll guide you. School IDs are mandatory for students, which obviously helps adults find intruders. They have stairs designated for up and down to help traffic. Okay, quite a few kids cuss, but there are still genuinely kind people you can find (kids and teacher alike), so just wisely choose which conversations and friends you want to be involved in. Pretty much all adults know when to get angry, from what I've seen, so they can't be called "mean." Overall, it's a matter of the people you meet and rules you are under that makes your experience at Wayside, or at any other school, beneficial and awesome for you and your legal guardians.Student Review1mo ago12 Reviews - Eagle Mountain High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs both a junior and straight-A student, I believe this to be a great school. The academics are amazing, the teachers are very nice, and the student demographic is very diverse. I don't have much else to say.Student Review1mo ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near NULLA Lechner Rd.

"Commuting between this area and Dallas or Fort Worth is good overall. 170 is a great option to access Hwy 114 to Dallas and there are toll road express roads south to Fort Worth if I-35 is congested. It is often congested during rush hour at I-35 and Heritage Trace."

"This particular area of Park Glen is very crime free. Lots of sport teams activities in the park across the street. Great walking trails. You walk, or run, a half mile, a mile, even 2 or more miles! Arcadia park across the street is also a flood zone which protects us from being flooded! "
